The Administrative Support Assistant will provide reception and administrative support, facilitating effective communication and administrative assistance throughout the business to ensure the smooth running of the operations. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To answer all incoming calls, correspondence, email and fax enquiries.
  • To ensure that all visitors are greeted in a friendly and hospitable manner.
  • To ensure that the reception and entry area is safe, clean and maintained to high standards at all times.

The Role

Operationally you will be involved in all aspects of food and beverage service, you will be responsible for tasks such as greeting, set-up, serving guests, pack-down, and other related services. The delivery of high-end hospitality services is a key focus, as is impeccable grooming. The standard hours are Monday to Friday daytime; however you may be required for the occasional evening event. Other responsibilities include:

Having exposure to many areas of modern pastry and dessert work, working under a world class fine dining pastry chef, you will learn baking work, including making a variety of breads and sour dough, croissants, pastries, muffins and more!

We are seeking an exceptional Maintenance Hand to join our team on a casual basis, 3 days per week. The role involves general maintenance work, manual handling, timely delivery and collection of goods/food products and farm work. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a current and appropriate full (unrestricted) vehicle license with a minimum 2 years clean driving record. Must be able to drive manual vehicles
  • Assist in the safe delivery of goods or food products as needed
  • General maintenance and handyman work across sites
  • Load and unload the vehicle/s
  • Collect and deliver items between Stix offices and/or client locations
  • Farm maintenance work including collection of eggs
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cohesive team
  • Ability to identify problems and seek solutions.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Plating/Checker to join our team located in Mascot on a casual basis. 

Working as a Production Plating Assistant, you will be packaging and plating First and Business Class meals for two major airlines and checking off items plated.

About the role

  • Check completed meals that are packaged and stored in the cool room
  • Complete daily shift reports for items checked
  • Plate and package meals to the specified requirements and standards
  • Ensure meals are plated and ready for dispatch within the specified timelines
  • Ensure quality of meals plated are always to the highest standard
  • Follow all HACCP and Food Safety requirements at all times
  • Work in a team environment
