Having exposure to many areas of modern pastry and dessert work, working under a world class fine dining pastry chef, you will learn baking work, including making a variety of breads and sour dough, croissants, pastries, muffins and more!

The successful candidate will have:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or Certificate III in Baking
  • At least 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role

  • An ability to work in a team environment

  • A genuine passion for the trade
  • Able to work weekends

Boardroom Attendant

Stix Catering is seeking outstanding team members to work inside Sydney's most prominent corporate & financial institution in the heart of Sydney CBD, on a full-time basis. 

The Role

Operationally you will be involved in all aspects of food and beverage service, you will be responsible for tasks such as greeting, set-up, serving guests, pack-down, and other related services. The delivery of high-end hospitality services is a key focus, as is impeccable grooming. The standard hours are Monday to Friday daytime; however you may be required for the occasional evening event. Other responsibilities include:

  • Welcome corporate customers in a friendly and accommodating manner, making a great first impression.
  • Ensuring that the food service areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • To personally have a thorough understanding of the venue and its operations
  • Comply with uniform and grooming standards.

Stix catering is currently seeking an enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our team of chefs and hospitality professionals located in Syndey CBD. Working in state of the art kitchens across our 3 sites, you will be predominantly working with our events and cafe team on a variety of formal boardroom lunches, cafe selections and canapés. This is an exceptional role that encourages creativity with a Monday - Friday working week!

Candidates must have:
