Ethics & Awareness

We promote ethical practices across our operations. Wherever possible, we encourage an awareness and understanding of the human footprint and its impact on the environment.

At Stix, we offer sustainable solutions that contribute to the preservation of our fish, livestock and fresh produce for generations to come.

The Where & How of Great Food

Great food comes from the heart. We’re passionate about sourcing the best ingredients from producers and growers who are the masters of their craft.

Central to every Stix menu is a respect for produce and a dedication to creating innovative meals that are healthy, sustainable and delicious.

History & Heritage

David launched Stix Catering in 1999 with a promise to continually promote innovation, passion and dedication to his clients and partnerships.

This has carried over into the Farm Project where David has called on his 3 years as a Jackaroo to help ignite a new facet to the Stix story. Since 2014, David has been developing two farm properties to rear some of the best pork, free-range chicken and a multitude of organic products with our closest partners.

Along with a fully self-contained cabin set in the bush, and a test kitchen all with panoramic views of the Hawkesbury River.

Innovative Approach

David Allison doesn’t follow food trends. Instead, the award-winning chef prefers to set them. Whether it’s experimenting with flavour combinations or eye-catching presentation, David’s innovative approach sets Stix apart. Stix continues to invest in expansion by developing its kitchen facilities and talent pool, capturing new clients and partners in the process.

And now, the Farm Project sets a new benchmark for the catering industry. David has engaged experts to help him understand the intricacies of farming Berkshire pork, free-range chickens and organic vegetables. Grown on the banks of the Hawkesbury River, these pristine ingredients find their way onto the tables of Stix’s top clients, reducing food miles to mere metres.

Innovation is the hallmark of Stix Catering, from the farm to the plate.

We are committed to caring for our environment. We endeavour to use products and practices that are sustainable and will not compromise on service or quality.
